I made up a concoction of peppermint oil with Jojoba oil for my sunburn oil. It takes the heat out and Peppermint has a natural cooling sensation so it actually cools it off, also there was no blistering or peeling. This was down in Florida when we had company that thought they wouldn't burn and didn't put any sunscreen on. You know how us Northerners can be. Too tough even for the Heavenly Sun... Beccie

Vinegar and Sunburn by: Grandma
Hi there,
Yep, you reminded me how much apple cider vinegar can sooth a sunburn. I remember when I was a teenager I went out on a boat for the day and never gave a thought to covering my legs and boy did I get a sunburn. My best friends grandma gave me apple cider vinegar that night to dab on my legs and it really took a lot of the heat out. They blistered and finally peeled but the vinegar helped get me through a painful couple of days.
