Help for fallen hair.
by: Anonymous

Several years ago I had decided to perm my hair but forgot one MAJOR rule never ever put conditioner on your hair before perming it!I made that mistake even worse by having slept with it in my hair overnight, thinking it would help make it come out better, well it started coming out!on my pillow in the shower and in my comb and brush. I'd forgotten that years before, I read somewhere that, that is something you don't do.I had been going through a lot of stress at work with obnoxious co-workers and the stress from it all was making my hair fall out,so after many months my hair was looking a bit strange which was why I decided to put the perm on and well you know the rest. I was so embarassed I took to wearing fashionable hats and caps to hide, and was very depressed about it.

My best friend told me she had heard about a weird remedy her cousin had tried and it worked.I was desperate and willing to try anything. She said try using Monostat 7 (which is used for a yeast infection)I bought some-the store brand and tried it and believe it or not it actually did work and so does using shampoos and conditioners with Panthenol,Panthenyl. Also using products with sulfur(just make sure to wash your hair every few days afer using once a week because of the smell) scalp massages.
Taking B5 and/or Biotin
also helps big time. give yourself hot oil treatments using Olive Oil. Just be patient it takes time. A great side effect is your nails will grow like crazy! I hope this could be of help.

Recipe for Hair Loss
by: Grandma

Hello Again Sophie,

I found a recipe for hair loss I thought you might be interested in giving a try.

Mix together 10 tablespoons of rum, 5 tablespoons of olive oil and 1 egg yolk; massage the mixture into your scalp twice a week in the evening. Wash it out the next morning with a mild shampoo.

Hair Loss
by: Grandma

Hello Sophie,

My first thought after reading your submission is vitamin and/or mineral deficiency. Of course so much can be causing hair loss, like stress, heredity, medications, disease or disorders, allergies, enviroment or it could be the shampoo you're using or chemicals you're putting in your hair, like hair color or perms.

I can tell from your writing that this is putting you under a lot of stress and that just puts you into a catch 22. Sophie you are only 37 years old you have so much life to live yet. I realize losing your hair is stressful but it really isn't worth thinking about ending your life over. There are so many things that can be done in this day and age.

The first thing I recommend is to try to think about what could be causing this condition. Try changing things just to experiment, like your shampoo, conditioner or hair spray. If you color your hair or get perms, stop doing that for awhile and just go natural to see if it helps. The second thing I recommend is to start taking vitamins. Your B vitamins and D3, C are all very important in not only your hair's health but also your skin and all over general health. Green tea extract and Biotin and amino acids are also really important. Pay attention to your diet and eat lots of vegetables. And remember, nothing is going to work overnight, be patient with yourself. I'd also suggest is to see a Natural Health Practioner in your area and get some advice and maybe some tests to see what they can figure out. Even the advice of a hair dresser in your area would help.
