Remedies to Chase Moles
by: Grandma

Hi Josie,

There are several ways to get rid of moles from your yard or garden. First it's a good idea to look around and see where they are building their tunnels. Once you do that you can try getting some catnip oil and putting it on cotton balls and place them in the holes and around your yard, they hate the smell of catnip.

Mole are also very sensitive to sound. If you place a loud radio or boombox in the yard and start playing some hard rock, very loud, it will most like chase them away. I doubt if your neighbers are going to be too happy with you, expecially when the moles end up in their yard.

You can also get a few ears of corn and cover them with tar, they really hate the smell of tar and just put the ears in the holes.

You can also put a few squares of Ex-Lax down the holes they stroll through, that seems to chase them off too.

Planting mints around your yard and house is always a good idea.
