Vitamins from Rosehip Tea

Hello,
I read your receipe for rosehip tea. I was wondering if you can still get the vitamin benefit if the rosehips are dried. Also are some kinds of roses better than others?
Thank you,
Andrea

Rose Hip Tea & Vitamins
by: Grandma

Hi,

Yes, you will still have an abundance of vitamins from the dried rose hips for your tea, especially vitamin C. The antique roses are always the best to use, but they are rare and hard to find these days. Just like your heirloom tomatoes or peppers, they are always the best tasting and highest in vitamins and minerals. But the seeds are hard to locate and the plants are even harder, but well worth the effort.
