How long to soak feet
by: Anonymous

Grandma, You contradicted yourself....Instead of 10 minutes, on the remedy page out says 20 minutes. "Don't dilute this formula with water. Soak your feet 20 minutes everyday, this formula can be reused everyday as long as you keep it covered when not in use."

Listerine Recommended!
by: Grandma

The only kind of Listerine I recommend for the foot bath is the Listerine Original (it's an amber color) and it won't stain your feet! When dealing with a home remedy patience is highly recommended. The most important thing to remember is you're not dealing with severe side effects!

I just got done using this foot soak with cool mint Listerine. It was tingley and refreshing but didn't help my dry skin and turned my feet green like dying Easter eggs!!

Toenail Fungus & Foot Bath Recipes
by: Grandma

Hello,

You can find the page I wrote about the Listerine & Apple Cider Vinegar Recipe for foot fungus if you look under the button on the left that reads "Vinegar Wisdom". The recipe is pretty simple, just mix 1/2 Original Listerine with 1/2 Apple Cider Vinegar, the amount depends on how long you think you may use it and if you need to soak both feet. Soak for about 20 min. at day. It would be best if you read the entire page.

Another recipe I wrote about for toenail fungus you can find if you look for the button "Home Remedies" and look for the link "Toenail Fungus Remedy" that suggest you put Vicks Vapo Rub on your toenails at night and put on a pair of soaks. Again, always best to read the page.

Vinegar & Listerine Home Remedy
by: Grandma

Hello Gloria,

I'm not sure if you're asking how long you should soak your foot or how long you should keep up with this home remedy. So I'll try to answer both.

At first I'd only soak my foot for a few minutes since it will probably sting a bit. As you get use to the process and your foot starts to heal you can start soaking a little longer but I really wouldn't soak longer than 10 minutes at a time.

For some people this home remedy seems to work very fast and for others it takes awhile longer. I'm sure a lot depends on how long you have been dealing with the fungus and Athletes foot and of course how severe it has developed to. I know of some people that will use this remedy for a couple of months before the problem is completely gone. So I'd suggest that even when you see results and your foot is healing nicely it won't hurt to soak once a week for a while longer just to make sure the fungus has been distroyed.

Thanks for trusting in Grandma's Wisdom,

Grandma
