ULCERATIVE COLITIS

Hello Grandma
I have a cronic disease called Ulcerative Colitis. It's been more than 10 years now and it is really making me sick every year. Do you have an idea of what herbs can I use to stop this?
My email address is abueng@bafokeng.com

I would really appretiate if you could suggest some herbs to me. Maybe if you know any Holistic Medical Practioner in South Africa whom I can visit.

my dog had severe colitis and i didnt want to give him a harsh wormer for his tapeworm so i tried crushed green pumpkin seeds just from the health food shop. It didnt kill the worm but his colitis has been gone for 2 months now! Didnt know if anyone wanted to try it. He had 4-7 tablespoons a day and is a medium dog.Hope it helps someone.

Ulcerative Colitis & Herbal Remedies
by: Grandma

Hi,

I'm sorry, I really don't know of any Natural Healcare Practioners in South Africa.

It's a shame how long you have been suffering from ulcerative colitis, it must be torture. I did a little research and have found that drinking chamomile tea can help soothe the stomach. Just sipping on it through the day can relieve a lot of the symptoms. Ginger tea with honey is also helpful and is known for its anti-inflamatory activity.

Some people swear by "yellowroot" if you can't find "yellowroot" you could try "goldenseal". You can usually find these in capsule form.

Aloe is also really good to relieve colitis. But you'd have to find it in the liquid form. If you can't find any of this in your area you can buy it online at:

If you go there I'd suggest you fill out the questions on the Health Analyzer and see what suggestions you get there. It's like having a Natural Healthcare Practioner at your fingertips.
