by lucy t
(brisbane,qld,australia)

"Hi grandma, so glad i found your page..I want natural cures for my ailments. I have been to the Drs for treatment, one suggested I wear a hotwater bottle around my neck, another says there's nothing he can give me to prevent this happening...I have been hospitalised for a heart check up, I was monitored for 2 nights, echo sound done, all normal...But these spasms happen anytime of the day or night, working, walking, watching tele you name it. I might add im 59 years old and pretty fit for my age. I hope you can sugest something for me.

Thank you

Pinched Nerves
by: Grandma

Hello Lucy,

First I want to say I'm sorry it took a few days to get back to you. I went on a much needed 5 day vacation with some very old and dear friends.

It sounds to me like you have some pinched nerves in your neck and possibly in between your shoulder blades. I'd suggest you see a Chiropractor as soon as possible. I worked as a Chiropractic Assistant for many many years and I have seen many patients come in the door with the same complaints as yours. Within a few spinal adjustments they were feeling great.

Until you find a good Chiropractor in your area I would suggest you try using a hot water bottle for 10 minutes and a ice pack for 10 minutes on your neck and between your shoulder blades.

I'd also suggest you try taking magnesium phosphate #8, it's a natural mineral that most people are very low in. It's a natural muscle relaxer and will help the spasms.
