To Strip your Hair from Hair Spray Buildup and Else

by BETSY SWAFFORD
(HEIDRICK, KY)

To strip your hair from hair products that build up and cleanse your scalp use 1 half cup Apple Cider Vinegar to 1 quart warm water set aside. Shampoo as usual, rinse, then rinse with vinegar mixture, rinse again, then condition your hair it will be squeaky clean and shinny.

Vinegar & Hair Dye
by: Grandma

I wouldn't risk using vinegar on hair that has been permanently colored. The high content of acid would probably strip the color out. That's just a guess on my part since I haven't started coloring my hair yet, (notice I said yet, I'm thinking about it, but for me it just seems like it's one more thing to do..ha!). Maybe someone reading this could give some advice through experience.

Hi Betsy,

Thank you for letting us know about your experience with Apple Cider Vinegar rinse and how it can restore your hair's beautiful natural shine. I know it's also a great treatment for dandruff.
