Sinus Infections , My 6 year old

Hello Grandma,

My 6 years old son has been congested so much with yellow and green mucus. The mucus runs down his throat, and make his throat irritated and make him cough. I know he has infection in his nose, but I do not know why his system product so so much mucus, he has to blow them out constantly. He has a hard time sleep at night, because he congested with so much mucus. I tried to use saline spray but it seem like it is not helping him that much. I cannot use the Neti pot because one of his eardrum still has a little hole open. What can I use that can help him to get rid of the infection and the mucus problems. thank you

Hello,

I am so sorry you haven't heard from me sooner. I sent you an email a couple of days ago but for some reason I got it back today saying it couldn't deliver it to you. I feel bad because I realize your son does have a sinus infection and that can be really tough to deal with.

The first thing I would try is making my own salt water nose drops. Just mix a 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt with a cup of warm water and put a few drops in each nostral. I have more faith in the home made nose drops than the solutions you buy in the store. I'd also have him gargle with salt water a couple of times a day.

I'd also recommend you start him on an herbal combination called Hist Block. This will strengthen his immune system and clean out his sinus and respratory system. I used this on my son when he was dealing with a sinus and respratory infection. You can find this at:

Just put Hist Block in the search block or put sinus infection and you'll see a variety of herbal combinations for your son's infection. I'm sure you've noticed I'm a true believer in herbs.
