Severe Problems with Periods

grandma am smitha from bangalore again....i want ur advice or solution as i have severe problem with my periods....i get my periods regularly...but for 8 to 9 days every month...i had consulted doctor regarding this but the medicines were of no use,so please want some remedy for this
