I have been suffering this awful/painful problem for some 6 weeks and not improving despite hospital and doctor visits. Tried all the anti-biotics that have been presribed with still no improvement.

Can you advise me of any possible help.

Home Remedies for Respiratory Tract Infection
by: Grandma

Hello Don,

Wow, that's a long time to suffer from an upper respiratory tract infection. It seems you've tried all there is to try in the medical field. To be honest, my family and I have never had much faith in medicine when it comes to colds and flu.

The first thing I'd recommend is to get yourself a good vaporizer. Fill it with clean, cold water and add a pinch of sea salt, nothing else. Keep it in any room you are in and run it round the clock for as long as it takes to get the phelm out of your chest. Just make sure you refill it with clean, cold water and sea salt each time it runs low. Never use hot tap water in it because that contains lead!

Next, I'd recommend you use my hot toddy recipe. You can find the recipe on the left, just look for the button that says, "Hot Toddy Recipe". It's so soothing and will help you relax and get some much needed rest. It will also help bring the phelm up. Don't mix it with tea, take it straight until you notice the infection coming out.

Another product I swear by for upper respiratory tract infection is ALJ. It's an herbal mixture that I use and give to my family anytime we notice a respiratory problem starting. I keep several bottles on hand all the time. You can buy this at:

Believe me, the price of this herbal supplement is well worth it. I always take two in the morning, two at lunch, and two in the evening, until it gets a hold on the infection. You'll notice yourself coughing up that yellow phelm within 3 days of taking it. What I like most about this herbal mixture is when you burp you'll taste licorice. ha! It's better than tasting that awful infection!
