Hi Grandma, I have a dear best-friend was told she has Neuropathy and it breaks my heart to hear the pain she is in..her toes are very swollen and she tries to add wet hand cloth and it gives her some relieve but not much. I would like to know if you have any other remedies she could use. I do hope that this finds you well and also you get to place something on the website for Neuropathy....hugs, Linda

Painful Neuropathy
by: Grandma

Hello Linda,

I'm so sorry it took me so long to get back to you. Between the storm that came through on the East Coast and the holidays season things have caused me to get way behind on my website.

I hope your friend has found some relief by now. She's so lucky to have a good friend like you. To be honest, I knew nothing about Neuropathy. I had to do some research just to find out what it was. I'm really not educated in the medical field, I'm just a grandma trying to offer some home remedies. From what I found out about this disorder I understand why you'd be so concerned. I really didn't find much as far as remedies for relief.

If one of my children or grandchildren were dealing with this disorder I'd suggest they start taking large doses of magnesium. Magnesium is known to relieve muscle cramps and the more I study the benefits of magnesium the more I realize that most diagnosis are actually symptoms of low magnesium levels. Even if her pain has gotten better by now I'd still suggest she start taking magnesium.
