Preschool Gifts

Dear Grandma,
I'm looking for possible free samples to place in our "goodie bags" for our preschoolers at their closing program. We are doing our version of the "Sound of Music" and calling it "The Sound of Children". We are decorating with goats and doing goat crafts, songs etc...and I am having a very difficult time finding goat toys, bookmarks, key rings, pencils, flyers for advertisement or anything for a reasonable price. We have 48 total students (6 classes). They are 3,4 &5 year olds. Would you have hand cream or anything similar, made from goat's milk? Any other suggestions are very much appreciated! Thanks for any contributions!

Hello Dawna,

I wish I could help you out. I've had Goat Milk and Olive Oil Soap for years but this year I'm completely out of it. The farm family I buy it off of have been having problems and haven't had the time to make it this year yet. I don't even have any for myself. They promised me as soon as they find time to make some they will call me. But that might not be for awhile.

Last summer I found a place that raise goats and have a gift shop with all things made from goat products. I just tumbled across this place on a back road I was traveling. I hope to go back again this summer but I can't even remember the name of the farm.

I wish I could have been of more help, I'm so sorry. If I had the soap right now I'd donate some to your sweet children. If I think of anything in the near future I will write again.
