Thyroid Deficiency & Herbal Remedies
by: Grandma

Hello,

The first thing I need to point out to you is that you should never take your son off of the medications he's been on since birth. And any alternative you try should first be discussed with his doctor to see if it can be mixed with his medications.

There are herbs that have been known to help relieve the symptoms of Thyroid Deficiency. But, like medications, it all depends on if your son suffers from hyperthyroidism (too much)or hypothyroidism (too little).

I'd suggest you find a natural health practioner in your area and explain your sons condition and medcations and new symptoms. I'm sure there is an herbal tonic the practioner could perscribe for your son that would help with his symptoms.

There are alternative methods to help your son, don't give up, but be careful. I'm sure the last thing you want is to make your son's symptoms worse. I'm not an expert in this field and without knowing all the facts and symptoms I really couldn't suggest any treatments.
