Mullein Flowers & Mullein Tea Recipe

Recently harvested my first mullein. By the time I found out what mullein was used for there was no flower on the top. My plan is to make tea by using your recipe, but it clearly states using the flower. Does this mean my tea, using just the leaves will be ineffective?

Hello Madonna,

Sure, you can use the mullein tea leaves, of course the flowers medicinal benefits are more potent but the leaves are medicinal too. Just make sure you strain the tea before drinking it or even using it for a skin compress. The fine hairs can be really irritating.
