Iced Apple Cider Vinegar

by Linda Lee McAfee
(Ozark, Alabama, USA)

1 TBSP Bragg Organic Raw Apple Cider Vinegar
1 tsp more of the vinegar (optional)
3 TBSP sugar
1-1/2 cups spring water
1 cup crushed ice

Pour vinegar, sugar, and water into large tumbler and stir. Add crushed ice and stir.

The result is a sweet-tart icy drink. Sometimes when I want it slightly more tart, I add 1 teaspoon more of the vinegar.

This is my "feel good" drink.

Tonic

Hi Linda,

Your recipe is very similar to the Apple Cider Vinegar Tonic except the tonic has honey instead of sugar. You're right it does give you a boost in spirits and to me it tastes very much like apple juice with a little kick.

Thanks for supplying the recipe, maybe more people will try it as an iced drink during the day and would prefer to use sugar instead of honey.
