Field Ant Remedies
by: Grandma

Hi Terri,

Field Ants are often mistaken for Carpenter Ants, if you know where their nest is located you can put some Boric Acid into the nest, this will kill them. If they are inside you house you might want to try mixing 1 tsp. of table salt, 1/2 tsp. of white pepper in a quart of water, mix well and let sit for awhile, then strain most of the water off and spray the ants with what is left. You can also try the various remedies I have listed for getting rid of sugar ants. Just look for the button on the left that reads "DIY Pest Control" then just scroll until you find the link for "Sugar Ants".
