I have never seen a nail fungus so severe as to turn the nails black. I have seen them turn black after a foot accident and the circulation wasn't getting through the toes properly.
I don't think the Vick's would help when the nails are this bad but I do think my other remedy might just be what you are looking for.
What you'll need to do is get a bottle of the original Listerine and a bottle of Apple Cider Vinegar. Pour each bottle into a container that you can cover and soak your feet in the mixture at least once a day. You can cover the mixture and use it over and over again. This should kill the fungus. It will take awhile before your nails start looking normal again, as your nails start regrowing but I do believe this will help.
