Home Remedy for Acid Reflux

by Brenda
(Decatur, Alabama)

For years I had heartburn, my doctor gave me everything, nothing helped, nothing stopped that burning up in my neck at night. When I drank water it got worse. One night I was at work (waitress) and an elderly black woman, 94 years young told me, "baby if you will do what I tell you I will get rid of that heartburn." I told her I would try anything, she told me she would see me tomorrow. The next day she was there with a quart of ice cold fresh goat milk, she told me to take it home put in refrigerator and when I get up drink 2oz before I put anything else in my mouth. I did that for about a week until all the milk was gone, that has been 25 years ago and I have never had another heartburn. I eat what i want when I want.

I thank God everyday that woman touched my life. I am 60 now and have passed her remedy down to my children and grandkids and I never knew her name. I hope your readers will try this if they go to Dr. for acid reflux it is great.

Thanks for all the tips.

Regards Nana:)

Additional question about goat's milk for Brenda
by: Anonymous

Hello,
I saw your post and just had to get more information if that is ok. I have been suffering from daily, intense heartburn and acid reflux since my first pregnancy in 2003. I have been taking Prilosec for the past 4 years (and Aciphex for 2 years before that) and if I miss a dose, symptoms return in full force.

I don't want to take any drugs and wish it would just go away. I don't know why it didn't go away after my second pregnancy but the only thing I can come up with is that it's due to my weight gain (from two back to back pregnancies). I gained 40 pounds and can't seem to lose it! Anyways, if I miss a dose of Prilosec I get terrible heartburn and stomach acids back up into my throat and mouth at night - it is awful!! I am going to try the goat milk but I was wondering if pasteurized goat milk was ok. I know Trader Joe's carries it.

Also if anyone has any other advice for me, PLEASE PLEASE share it with me as I am desperate!! Thank you so much!!!

- Suzanne

Home Remedy for Acid Reflux

Heart burn happens because the stomach is telling us it needs "more acid" not less acid! Like the
World Ad's tells us. Stop wasting your money on them.

A small sip of rice vinegar will bring instant results and relief ! Any vinegar will work.

But Rice vinegar has a nice mild taste.
