MY HUSBAND HAD COLIN CANCER.THEY HAD TO REMOVE PART OF THE COLIN.HE IS CANCER FREE NOW,BUT HE HAS A LOT OF GAS AND IT HAS A VERY STRONG ODOR VERY,VERY,BAD ALL THE TIME.DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEAS WHAT MIGHT HELP?

I just wanted to add to the herbal remedy, with some essential oil answer. If your husband could drink some hot tea with a drop of peppermint oil in it, it may just help. Not only with the gas but with any cramping that may come with it. I hope this will help.

Hello Pat,

My brother-in-law went through the same operation many years ago and thank God he's doing fine. But this type of operation does seem to produce a lot of gas for a period of time afterwards.
