Essential oils for Dandruff and flaky scalp

I would have to ask you first and foremost to rate the type of hair you have. Is it oily or dry. This is very important for you to know before you try a treatment for your scalp. The scalp is actually what you are addressing when addressing your dandruff.

If your scalp and hair is dry it will need something in a blend that will moisturize, and if you have oily hair you will need a blend mixed with vinegar to take the oil away.

You will need to either blend the eo's either in a ***carrier oil or vinegar.

*****Carrier oil such as jojoba oil, almond oil, or if you don't want to buy either of these you can actually use olive oil*****

The best essential oil for your dandruff either way is Tea Tree Oil. You can mix 3-4 drops of eo, again, depending on your hair type, with either a carrier oil to mix the eo with or to mix with vinegar. Putting the tea tree oil with these carriers will help spread the eo through the hairs.

You can also mix 15 drops of eo to the shampoo you are using now. Just make sure you shake it up well and let the blend you chooose to sit on your scalp, while you bathe before you rinse.

The Tea Tree Oil has a cool sensation so you will know when it is on your scalp. Let the blend sit for as long as you can. Do this at least 3-4 times a week or more depending on how often you wash your hair.

Wishing you the best of hair. Beccie
