Dishwasher Rinse Agent

by Tonya

I live in a place with "hard" water, so every time I run the dishwasher, my dishes come out spotted...even if I use the most expensive dishwashing detergent or best quality dishwashing rinse agent, they still come out spotted. So, to cure my "spots", I simply put distilled vinegar in as the rinse agent with my regular dishwashing detergent for each cycle and spots! It's much cheaper than those store-bought rinse agents, too.

White Distilled Vinegar
by: Grandma

Hi Tonya,

Thank you for your tip on using white distilled vinegar in your dishwasher. That's a really good tip, so many people are dealing with hard water and spots on dishes, including me. I'll give your tip a try, it sure sound easier than trying to buff the spots off the glasses.
