Dishwasher Rinse Agent

I live in a place with "hard" water, so every time I run the dishwasher, my dishes come out spotted...even if I use the most expensive dishwashing detergent or best quality dishwashing rinse agent, they still come out spotted. So, to cure my "spots", I simply put distilled vinegar in as the rinse agent with my regular dishwashing detergent for each cycle and VUALLAAH...no spots!
