Dandruff Treatment Without Hair Wash

by Krishnan
(Bangalore, India)

Hi Grandma,
I had an ear surgery last week and have been advised not to have head bath for 1 month;
My hair is filled with dandruff flakes all over and its more terrible pain than my ear.

Could you please suggest a remedy which I could apply and wipe with wet towel.

Thank you in advance.

Regards,

Dandruss & Dry Shampoo
by: Grandma

Hello Krishnan,

I'm sure you know there are several dry shampoo's on the market, I'm not sure about what your country sells but I suspect they do sell that. But...I doubt if they would help your dandruff problem.

I'd suggest you try mixing 1/2 cup of apple cider vinegar with 1/2 cup of warm water, soak a washrag in the solution and rub your scalp and hair with the washrag. This will relieve the pain you're feeling on your scalp, it's a great remedy for dandruff and it will also help clean your hair. Don't worry about the strong smell it will evaporate as your hair is drying. Your hair will actually smell clean once dried.

Praying for you quick recovery from your ear surgery, it must be awfully painful,

Grandma
