Cleaning Silver
by: Grandma

Hello TerryAnn,

You had me giggling when I read your mother-in-law is coming.

Baking Soda Tarnish Remover:

Just sprinkle some baking soda on a damp cloth and rub it on your silverware until tarnish is gone, let stand for a few minutes before rinsing and drying. Make sure you completely dry your silverware with a soft cloth.

Or you can make a paste with baking soda and water. Rub it on and let sit a few minutes then take a dry cloth and polish.

You can also try a Vinegar Recipe for Cleaning Silverware.

Just mix 2 tablespoons of cream of tarter and just enough vinegar to make a paste. Rub it on and let it dry. Wash it off with plain warm water and dry with soft cloth. This will also get your siverware to shine.

Thanks for visiting Grandma's Wisdom,
