Herbal Teas for Restlessness & Vitamins
by: Grandma

Hello Jenny,

It's pretty natural for children to feel tired after surgery. I realize it's hard not to worry when we're so used to seeing them active, and I'm sure that's why you're noticing the restlessness at times.

I'd try giving him some Chamonile tea with some honey. This will help him relax and get the much needed rest he needs right now. I'd also give him some Rose Hip tea to get some of the vitamins to build his immune system back up. Put some honey in and that will entice him to drink it. Honey has a lot of natural benefits too. You can read about the Honey Benefits at the button on the left.

Just go to my "Medicinal Teas" button on the left and you'll find the links for the recipes for the teas I mentioned.
