Black Ants

by Terri
(Ellwood City, Pa)

I had come home from a day of running around doing chores to find a bunch of big black ants on my kitchen counter. I absolutely HATE bugs, so i went online to find a home remedy to get rid of those nasty insects. Someone had suggested a paste made of vinegar and garlic powder. Well I didnt have garlic powder but i did have a jar of chopped garlic from the supermarket.I mixed vinegar and the juice from the garlic and sprayed all around the counter.Went to work , bought ant traps at work thinking the home remedy wouldnt work. I came home and the ants are gone and have not returned! This is the fist time I ever tried a home rememdy, but from now on home remedies will be my FIRST choice!

Natural Pest Control with Vinegar
by: Grandma

Hi Terri,

What a great natural form of pest control. I love using anything natural, without chemicals and toxins. Who would think vinegar & chopped garlic would chase black ants from a counter top?

Thank you so much for sharing your tip with us,

Grandma
